WHO WE ARE AT BEN'S INTERNATIONAL DRIVING SCHOOL

Ben Yang started our driving school in 2010.

He used his own name for his business because he values his personal credibility as a respected and reputable instructor in the market providing his knowledge and expertise.

We provide a relaxed and friendly environment for students and staff to study and work.

The driving school is also a place for people to meet and share information and help each other. Our students are an extended family as many come back regularly to visit once they have graduated and started their new careers.

At Ben’s International Driving School we put special focus on international students, providing guidance for entering the trucking industry, as well as ongoing support throughout their career.

Many students have been helped with taking the first step in their new career in the trucking industry, and we are pleased to see more and more students join us and be successful!

Our instructors look forward to the opportunity to teach you the necessary skills required to start your career in as a CLASS 1 Professional Driver.

INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT

An absolute legend in her own right, Maureen is one of very few female Certified In-Cab Class 1 Instructors in the province of Manitoba. She comes to Ben's with almost 30 years of miles, both highway and city under her belt. She brings real world experience to the table and a unique perspective as a woman driver in the industry.
She is an amazing instructor who will prepare you for the road ahead while making safety a priority but have fun doing it!

The owner instructor, started his driving instructor career at 20 years old. He graduated from the college of driving technique for 3 years in China. He has 27 years of experience in driving education. He is patient and professional, identifies students’ needs and provides the most efficient and effective personal training plan.

With three decades of driving expertise under her belt, Maureen transitioned into teaching Class 1 with unwavering commitment. In the class 1 training industry, where female in-cab instructors are a rarity, Maureen stands out – placing utmost emphasis on your learning journey and safety. Her primary goal is to transform your career path into a delightful and unforgettable experience.

RACHEL WU

OPERATION MANAGER &
INSTRUCTOR – CLASS 5

Helps with everything you need. Knowledge tests, funding application, job search, scheduling, etc. Call her or send her an email, she will get it done.

Ben’s International Driving School provides Class 1 & 3 driver training courses in Winnipeg for aspiring long haul drivers. As well, we conduct Professional / New Hired Driver Performance Evaluations for Manitoba companies.

For more than 12 years, we have helped international students reach their career goals in Canada’s transportation industry. We know exactly what skills you need to succeed which is why we integrate English language support services into our driving training courses.

As a member of the Manitoba Trucking Association, we have strong connections with the for-hire trucking companies in Manitoba.
