Ben’s International Driving School is seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of Class 1 Driving Instructor, dedicated to providing training for Class 1 drivers.
Duties:
- Teach all portions of training to Class 1 students
- Available full-time Monday to Friday between 8:30-5:00
- Part-time Class 3 training as the needs arise
- Assist with equipment maintenance as the needs arise
Requirements:
- MELT Certified Instructor
- Understand the diverse ability levels of students, and capable to deliver the training according to the specific student’s needs
- Extremely dependable
- Be able to assess and record student’s development, and to identify the skills which need attention and improvement
- Provide a safe, positive, and friendly relaxing learning environment for students
- Comply with school rules and guidelines, communicate with any or all other staff members who engage with students
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be a teamwork player and willing to learn
